San Francisco Taking Steps to Ban Plastic Bottles

You all know by now that I am a proud California Girl. So it shouldn’t surprise you that I share this story out of San Francisco with pride. The city is looking for safe ways to restrict plastic bottled water. The city is moving slowly and cautiously, aware that plastic water bottles is simply a way of life for many Americans, even Californians, and even in one of the leading plastic pollution combating cities. One of the important aspects of the project is to ensure that there is safe, accessible, drinkable water fountains and bottle refilling stations throughout the city. Progress is slow, but is progress nonetheless. It is always interesting to see what San Francisco is going to try next.
